Enhancement of mechanical property of modified polyurethane with bis-butyl succinate

چکیده
In this study, we explore an a new crosslinker (bis-butyl succinate, BBS) with terminal alkyne group to react glycidyl azide polymer-based polyurethane (original PU) via “azide-alkyne” click reaction, which has supported enhancing mechanical properties and cross-link densities of modified PUs BBS. Besides, been designed synthesized successfully esterification reaction can incorporate the original PU through formation 1,2,3-triazole groups. Moreover, resultant are investigated indicate relationship mole ratio [C≡C]/[N3] density. Specifically, stress Young’s modulus increase, whereas their strain decrease on increasing BBS content regarding increased rigid networks, as well increase Mooney-Rivlin equation.
